കോവിഡ്; ഐക്യരാഷ്ട്ര സഭക്ക് സൗദി അറേബ്യ പത്തുകോടി ഡോളര്‍ നല്‍കി

കോവിഡ് മഹാമാരിയെ പ്രതിരോധിക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള പോരാട്ടത്തിനായി ഐക്യരാഷ്ട്ര സഭക്ക് സൗദി അറേബ്യ പത്തുകോടി ഡോളര്‍ നല്‍കി. ലോകരാജ്യങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് കോവിഡ് പ്രതിരോധ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ക്കായാണ് സൗദി സഹായം നല്‍കിയത്.

യുഎന്‍ പദ്ധതിയുടെ ഭാഗമായി ലോകാരോഗ്യ സംഘനക്കും യുഎന്‍ ഏജന്‍സികളും നടത്തുന്ന മറ്റ് പ്രതിരോധ പദ്ധതികള്‍ക്കായി ഐക്യരാഷ്ട്ര സഭയിലെ സൗദിയുടെ സ്ഥിരം പ്രതിനിധി അബ്ദുല്ല അല്‍ മുഅല്ലിമിയാണ് പത്തുകോടി അനുവദിച്ചത്.
