ജര്‍മന്‍ ഫുട്‌ബോള്‍ ഇതിഹാസം ജെര്‍ദ് മുള്ളര്‍ അന്തരിച്ചു. 75 വയസായിരുന്നു. ജെര്‍ദ് മുള്ളര്‍ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ മരണവാര്‍ത്ത ജര്‍മന്‍ ക്ലബ് ബയേണ്‍ മ്യൂനിക്ക് സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചു. ഏറെനാളായി കടുത്ത അസുഖങ്ങള്‍ ബാധിച്ച് ചികിത്സയിലായിരുന്നു. ജര്‍മനിക്കൊപ്പം 1974ലെ ലോകകപ്പ് സ്വന്തമാക്കാന്‍ അദ്ദേഹത്തിനായിരുന്നു. ജര്‍മന്‍ ജേഴ്‌സിയില്‍ 62 മത്സരങ്ങള്‍ കളിച്ച താരം 68 ഗോളുകള്‍ നേടി. ബയേണിനായി 15 വര്‍ഷത്തിനിടെ 566 ഗോളുകള്‍ നേടി. 1970ല്‍ ബലന്‍ ദി ഓര്‍ പുരസ്‌കാരവും മുള്ളറെ തേടിയെത്തി. 1964 മുതല്‍ 1979വരെ ബയേണ്‍ ജേഴ്‌സിയില്‍ അദ്ദേഹമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. 14 കിരീടങ്ങളും അവര്‍ക്കൊപ്പം സ്വന്തമാക്കി.
